Math No Problem for Millburn Middle School Students

The Math Club attended the Essex County Problem Solving Convocation.

Seven sixth graders from the Millburn Middle School Math Club attended the Essex County Problem Solving Convocation last week.

Students from 15 Essex County school districts participated in the event that is sponsored by the Essex County Gifted and Talented Steering Committee.

The Millburn students were assigned to work on problem-solving teams with students from the other Essex County teams. The teams compete by moving to different problem-solving tables where students on the team must work together to earn points. Working as a team is critical to success in the competition.
