Message from the Millburn Police Department on Speeding

Slow down when driving in Millburn Township! Speed limits are not a suggestion, they are the law. Driving at high speeds is a dangerous behavior that unnecessarily endangers everyone on the road, including your neighbors and friends.

Law enforcement officials from the Millburn Police Department will increase presence and monitoring of high trafficked areas for moving violations over the coming weeks. Officers will be on the lookout for violations that include:

  • Illegal turns
  • Failure to stop
  • Failure to yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk
