Students and teachers at St. Rose of Lima Academy in Short Hills, were treated to a engaging and educational assembly program on the weather and green screen technology, featuring CBS Meteorologist, John Marshall. The weather portion of the assembly included an explanation of weather, types of clouds, storms and precipitation, and why there are seasons. They also learned about weather instruments and were even able to interact with a live weather station.
Additionally, students were chosen to become weathercasters using green screen technology as they learned that pointing to the green screen shows up on television as if they are pointing to a map or perhaps the five day forecast. Our weathercasters sadly predicted that we will not have enough snow this week for a snow day… but you never know!
