Mexican Food Bought With Phony Money: Millburn Police

Aaron Hockaday was arrested after trying to purchase Qdoba.

MILLBURN, NJ - An attempt to purchase a mexican meal led an arrest on a criminal warrant, according to the Millburn Police Department.

On Nov. 24 Millburn Police Officer Shanahan responded to Qdoba at The Mall at Short Hills on a forgery report, police said. According to authorities, Qdoba personnel reported that 30-year-old Aaron Hockaday of Brick attempted to pass a counterfeit $20 bill. Hockaday was found to have an outstanding Newark criminal warrant and was placed under arrest, police said.

Hockaday was processed and released with a new court date.
