Millburn High School is ranked 227 among the nation's high schools. The ranking is based on the number of students taking AP courses.

Millburn High School is ranked 227 in the nation and fourth in the state, according to Newsweek's latest high school rankings.
It's a drop in the rankings for the high school, which came in at 170 a year ago and 151 in 2008. The highest Millburn High School has been ranked was at 66 in 2003.
Coming ahead of Millburn High School in New Jersey are McNair Academic in Jersey City, High Technology in Lincroft and Ridge High School in Basking Ridge.

According to Newsweek's website, the public schools are ranked based on a ratio of the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and/or Cambridge tests taken by all students at a school in 2008 divided by the number of graduating seniors.
Millburn High School has been honored a number of times as being a top high school in the state and in the nation. In August 2008, New Jersey Monthly Magazine ranked the high school as the best in the state. The newest high school rankings from the magazine are expected this summer.
