MHS Senior Receives Hearst Magazines Scholarship
Anna Goldstein will speak at the awards ceremony this week.

Anna Goldstein, Millburn High School senior art consortium student, has been selected as the recipient of the 2010 Hearst Magazines Scholarship Award sponsored by The Graphic Communications Scholarship, Award and Career Advancement Foundation.
Her award includes a monetary component that will go towards her 2010-2011 tuition at the University of Michigan School of Art and Design. Due to Goldstein's highly-ranked portfolio and application packet, she also has been selected as one of the two honored students (of the 25 scholarship recipients) asked to speak at the foundation's awards ceremony, which will be held in Manhattan at the Hearst Tower on Thursday. Her presentation will address her life and graphics experiences as well as the importance of her art studies.
The Graphic Communications Scholarship, Award and Career Advancement Foundation was founded in 2003 to increase the awareness of rewarding careers in graphic communications. The GCS Foundation also provides financial support to New York City metro area students pursuing careers in graphic communications by mentoring and advising students from middle school through graduate school and by coordinating internship and work-study opportunities.
