All five art students credit their art teachers for inspiring them with their dedication and passion for teaching. "Even though artistic creation and creativity are so often individual endeavors, a good teacher can make a huge difference," said Olivia Moore of Madison High School, who will be continuing her education at Smith College in Massachusetts.

Nicholas (a graduate of Millburn High School) and his wife Brenda created the scholarship in 2006 to celebrate their 25th year in business. Both began their art careers in high school and feel very strongly about the importance of art education at the high school level.
