Middle School Musical: Little Shop of Horrors

Millburn students will present theater classic from April 24 to 26.

The Millburn Middle School Spring Musical, “Little Shop of Horrors,” will be held at 7 p.m., on Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, with a Sunday matinee at 1 p.m. on April 26.

Tickets are $15 and will be offered for sale online. Tickets may also be purchased in the guidance office after school from April 14 to 24, and will be available at the door on the days of the performances.

Director Bob DuSold returns to Millburn Middle School for his third production. A Maplewood resident, DuSold has performed on Broadway in productions of Les Miserable and Showboat, as well as national tours of Mamma Mia!, Chicago and Evita.

Choreography is under the direction of English teacher, Mark Oppel. Teacher David Huneryager, who has years of experience as an actor in both on and off-Broadway musicals, will serve as the musical director.

The MMS musical is co-produced by Susan Cicenia and Dominick Pisa, with set decoration by Claudia Sohr and set design/construction by Rick Cimino.
