MILLBURN, NJ — Residents are advised that garbage and recycling collection will begin earlier than usual this week due to the heat advisories in effect.
From June 30 through July 3, waste hauler Giordano Co. is adjusting its collection schedule to protect the safety of sanitation crews working in extreme temperatures.
To avoid missing collection, residents are asked to place garbage and recycling bins at the curb the night before their scheduled pickup day, as trucks may arrive earlier than normal.
