Millburn BOE Gives Thumbs-Up For 2 Principals
The Millburn Board of Education approved the appointments of John Connolly and Kristin Mueller at Millburn Middle School and Wyoming School.

MILLBURN, NJ — The Millburn Board of Education has approved the appointments of John Connolly as principal of Millburn Middle School and Kristin Mueller as principal of Wyoming School for the 2017-2018 school year.
“We look forward to having Mr. Connolly and Ms. Mueller join our leadership team,” Superintendent Christine Burton said Monday. “With these key positions now set, we are continuing to interview for the positions of Middle School Assistant Principal and Wyoming School Instructional Supervisor, and have confidence that we have found the right leaders in place for both schools.”
According to a Monday news release, Connolly, a Millburn native and Millburn High School graduate, will take the helm of the Middle School upon the retirement of current principal, Michael Cahill.

School administrators stated:
“Connolly comes to Millburn from the Madison Public School District, where he has been the Assistant Principal/Dean of Students since August 2008. He has been in the Madison, NJ school district since 1995, where he has also served as the K-12 Supervisor of Health and Physical Education… Connolly earned his Bachelor of Arts from Rowan University. He also has a Master of Arts in Education: Human Leadership Services from the College of Saint Elizabeth.”

According to administrators:
“Kristin Mueller comes to Wyoming School from the Randolph Schools, where she has been Vice Principal of Fernbrook and Shongum Schools since 2013. Prior to that administrative role, also in Randolph, she was the Elementary Supervisor of Media Specialists, as well as an elementary school teacher (2000-2013, grades 1, 3 & 4). She earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from Kutztown University in Kutztown, PA. She has also earned her Masters in Education and an M.A. in Educational Leadership from the College of Saint Elizabeth.”
