Millburn Celebrates Successful Winter Sports Season

MILLBURN, NJ - Director of Athletics Frank Bifulco shared a presentation on winter sports season highlights at the Monday, April 8 meeting of the Millburn Board of Education.

Included in the presentation was acknowledgement of Zane Solender accomplishment on the basketball court, including:

• Nine 3-pointers in one game
• 67, 3 pointers in one season

The presentation also honored Super Essex Conference Champion Daniela van Roon for her performance in the 800. Milburn's swim team also made the presentation with a highlight of Paige McBoyle bringing her squad to a first place finish in the 200 freestyle relay during the Essex County Conference Girls Swimming Championship at NJIT.

Bifulco also referenced the repeat success of the Ice Hockey team, taking the Kelly Cup for the second year in a row as well as Jasmine Shen's district championship in fencing.
