Millburn Cops Investigate Home Burglary

Millburn, NJ – Millburn police are investigating a home burglary on Ridgewood Road and an attempted home burglary on Hobart Avenue that took place last week.

According to the Millburn Police Department, officers responded to a report of a burglary that took place at a Ridgewood Road residence between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. on April 6.

The resident told police that an unknown suspect broke his basement window and entered the home. Nothing appeared to be missing, police stated.

Police also reported to a Hobart Avenue residence for an attempted burglary on April 8.

According to police, the residents’ nanny said that she saw a male suspect in the rear of the property. The nanny told police that the man fled down the driveway and ran east on Hobart Avenue.

A check of the premises revealed that the suspect attempted to gain entry through a rear door, police stated.
