Millburn police are investigating a series of home and car break-ins reported in the Church Street area last week, authorities say.

MILLBURN, NJ — Millburn police are investigating a series of home and car break-ins reported in the Church Street area last week, authorities say. According to the Millburn Police Department, a series of suspicious incidents took place on Aug. 17 that included:
- “Millburn Police Officer Kelly responded to a Church Street residence on a report of a motor vehicle theft. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actors took her 2016 Nissan Altima from her driveway.”
- “Two other Church Street residents reported burglaries to their vehicles. A 2013 Cadillac SRX was entered and $5 cash and sunglasses were taken, and a 2012 Lexus CT was entered and a knapsack with dental instruments were taken.”
- “Another Church Street resident reported a rear storage room of his residence was entered and three pairs of sneakers and a Poland Spring bottle containing approximately $400 in change was taken.”
- “During the canvass, a Millburn police officer located a 2004 Acura MDX parked/unoccupied on Church Street which had been reported stolen out of Newark.”
