Millburn defeats Madison for second place
The Millburn 10U baseball team beat Madison in the runner-up game at the Chatham Invitational Tournament thanks to a five-run third inning.
The Millburn 10U scored eight runs over the first three innings of the runner-up game in the on Sunday afternoon at Nash Field to defeat Madison, 11-4.

KEY PERFORMERS
Ten Millburn players had at least one hit while five players had an extra-base hit, including Andy Fresen, who hit a two-run homer. Six players drove in a run and Nicky Santagata went 4-for-4 with an RBI. Adam Wacks pitched three innings of three-run ball before Kyle Farscht threw two innings of one-run relief and Tyler Bernard tossed a perfect sixth.

When "Crowd-Pleasin'" Andy Fresen came to bat in the second with Nicky Santagata on first, he deposited an Anthony Mazzella offering over the fence in left field to give the visitors a 5-2 lead. Millburn would score three more runs in the inning and Madison never got closer than five runs the rest of the way.
