Millburn ‘Girl Talk’ Chapter Launches For Local Youth
National mentoring group Girl Talk has launched a Millburn chapter at the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum.

MILLBURN, NJ — Are you a Millburn youth looking for “girl talk” in your town? National nonprofit mentoring group Girl Talk has launched a Millburn chapter that meets at the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum and serves youth in in grades 2 to 8.
According to a news release, the group allows high school girls to mentor their middle school peers and help them deal with “the issues they face during their formative early teenage years,” building self-esteem, developing leadership skills and recognizing the value of community service.
The group meets Thursdays from April 6 to June 8, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. The fee is $90 for nine meetings. For more information, contact Chapter Coordinator, Annika, at annikasharma1@gmail.com.
