Millburn ‘Girl Talk’ Member Nominated For Scholarship
A Millburn High School junior and leader with Girl Talk Millburn was selected as a runner-up for the Give, Love, Laugh scholarship.

MILLBURN, NJ — A Millburn High School junior and leader with Girl Talk Millburn was recently selected as a runner-up for the Give, Love, Laugh scholarship.
Annika Sharma received a nomination for the scholarship, which was created by Natural Life and Girl Talk to encourage high school students to live a passionate and fulfilling life by “creating and executing a community service project which effects positive change around them.”

“The Girl Talk Millburn chapter was started in 2017 and has run several successful seasons of High school Girls mentoring and guiding middle school and elementary school girls. The chapter holds it's meetings at the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum in Short Hills every 2 weeks. The activities include community service projects, invited speaker sessions, Fitness/Yoga sessions, Painting parties, Baking Classes, Earth day celebrations, Social media awareness and movie nights. The Spring 2018 season ends in June and the Fall 2018 season will start in October 2018.”
