Monday night was senior night at Millburn’s Neigel Field, as the Lady Millers recognized those team members that will be graduating in June. The local team had a comfortable 9-3 lead at half-time, but Cranford threatened in the second half, scoring 9 times to Millburn’s 5 goals. The local team prevailed, 14-12.
Seniors Lily Orlan and Kelsey Polansky each scored 2 goals in the victory. Juniors Stephanie Rosenberg (4 goals), Megan Weissman (2 goals) and Stephanie Tortora (2 goals), as well as freshman Ali Tortora (2 goals), also found the net.
Following the game, the seniors were presented with flowers, posters and accolades.

The girls faces their next opponent on Wednesday, when they travel to Montclair Kimberly Academy to avenge the team’s lose in the Essex County Tournament in April.
