Millburn High School's Vytas Belzer earned the inaugural Dr. Rosa Hagin Scholarship award.

MILLBURN, NJ — Millburn High School’s Vytas Belzer has earned the inaugural Dr. Rosa Hagin Scholarship, an award from the Learning Disabilities Association of NJ which aims to acknowledge students with learning and/or attention issues who will be continuing their education beyond high school.

Belzer will be attending Colorado State University and has a strong desire to work with animals in the future, according to a news release.

Roger Askins, the transition coordinator at Millburn High School, said that he learned about the scholarship through the New Jersey Transition Coordinators Network of NJ. He and case manager Linda Randazza then selected Vytas as the MHS representative for the award.
