Police Blotter: Aug. 18 to 21

All of the following incidents are accusations, and all suspects should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

On August 18, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Lipke responded to Ralph Lauren at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Ralph Lauren personnel report a male selected and concealed five pairs of jeans valued at $925 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On August 19, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Pinero responded to True Religion at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. True Religion personnel report a male and female entered the store together and each concealed a pair of jeans with a total value of $507 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On August 20, 2015, a Parsonage Hill Road resident reported his home was burglarized on that date between the hours of 6:20 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. The unknown subject(s) entered the residence through a rear door after breaking the glass. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On August 21, 2015, Shakir Cole was arrested for fraudulent use and possession of a credit card at Neiman Marcus at The Mall at Short Hills.

On August 21, 2015, Brianna N. Grier, Sayesha Walker, and Brianni Blackwell were charged with shoplifting charges after the retail store Solstice, at The Mall at Short Hills, reported to Mall Security that three females may have just shoplifted from that store. Millburn Police arrived on scene, investigated, arrested and charged the three women on shoplifting charges.

On August 21, 2015, Emilie Krueger reported an unknown person(s) had taken her purse while shopping at the Apple store at The Mall at Short Hills. Krueger had put her purse down for a moment in the store and when she went to retrieve her purse it was gone. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
