Millburn Home to Some of New Jersey's Favorites
Millburn Deli, South Mountain Reservation and others are among those cited in the New Jersey Monthly ranking.

Favorite deli in New Jersey? Favorite hiking trail? Yup, Millburn's got that.
New Jersey Monthly Magazine recently published its "Best of New Jersey" list, and Millburn is home to several of New Jersey resident's favorites. The magazine asked more than 4,000 people to respond to its survey, and it received more than 40,000 answers.
The Millburn Deli was voted as the favorite Deli Sandwich/Italian in the poll, and the write-up cited the deli's specialty, the sloppy joe. "But people also flock to the deli for panini, customer-invented sandwiches, and brimming Italian-style heroes," the magazine article states.

South Mountain Reservation was ranked as the favorite hiking trail in New Jersey. The article cites the park's 19 miles of hiking and walking trails and 27 miles of paved carriage roads.
Water Bauman Jeweler's, which has several locations including Short Hills, was ranked as the best jewelry store in New Jersey. Footnotes, which has one of three stores in downtown Millburn, was ranked as the best women's shoe store. Harmon, which has an outlet in Short Hills, was ranked as the best beauty and health supply store.

While not specifically in Millburn, nearby Turtle Back Zoo was ranked as the state's favorite zoo.
Several Millburn-Short Hills establishments also ranked as runner up's. Martini Bistro & Bar was a runner up for best single's bar. Bagels-4-U was a runner up for best bagel. Suki's Children's Boutique was a runner up for best children's boutique. Futter's Shoes was a runner up for best men's shoes.
