MILLBURN, NJ — A Millburn homeowner may have scared a possible burglar away after catching them trying to break into their house earlier this month, police say.

According to the Millburn Police Department, an officer responded to a Farbrook Drive residence around 11:16 p.m. on Nov. 1 after receiving a report about an attempted burglary. On arrival, the resident told the officer that they saw a person attempt to open a window in the front of the home.

When the person saw the homeowner, they fled the scene. Millburn police are investigating the incident, authorities said.
