Millburn Job Hunters: N.J. Among Best States To Look For Work, Report Says

MILLBURN, NJ — It may be tough finding a good job in Millburn and Short Hills… but it could be much worse if you didn’t live in New Jersey, a study says.

A recent study from financial information provider WalletHub ranked 50 states according to “key indicators of job-market strength” such as median annual income, job opportunities, unemployment rates, job security, job satisfaction, average length of work week and average commute time.

New Jersey ranked as the 5th best “State for Jobs,” WalletHub reported, behind only Washington, Colorado, New Hampshire and South Dakota.

The Garden State ranked particularly well in categories such as “highest monthly median starting salary,” although it also ranked 48th for “Longest Time Spent Commuting.”
