Millburn Library Hosts 'Tales From The Desert' Concert Thursday
Peter Biedermann will present a solo instrumental guitar performance.

MILLBURN, NJ - Peter Biedermann, a solo instrumental guitarist based in Green Valley, AZ, will be appearing for the first time at the Millburn Public Library on Thursday. Biedermann has been composing and performing for over 40 years and the common thread throughout his musical background is crossing the boundaries of music genres.
This hybrid, contemporary style melds elements of American and European folk with jazz and blues shadings; underpinned by subtle ambient electronics. Biedermann began focusing on performing original solo instrumentals beginning in 2000. The music is now being presented in intimate settings such as libraries, art galleries, house concerts, churches etc.
Biedermann will be focusing on pieces from his latest recording 'Tales From The Desert' on a variety of guitars in unique tunings. The program encourages questions from the audience and will also include some of the history and evolution of steel string guitar playing over the last 50+ years.
