In Millburn: Man, 89, Attacks Driver With Baseball Bat After Crash, Police Say
A traffic collision led to the arrest of two drivers when they reportedly turned to violence after the crash, Millburn police say.
Millburn, NJ – A traffic collision last week led to the arrest of two drivers when they reportedly turned to violence after the crash, Millburn police say.
According to the Millburn Police Department, an officer arrived on the scene of an accident near Millburn and Wyoming Avenue on May 13 to find the drivers - Ronald Wolfe, 63, of Newark, and Rudolph Marzano, 89, of Maplewood – involved in an altercation.
Wolfe told police that after the crash, Marzano allegedly attempted to leave the scene of the accident.

Wolfe told police that he then struck Marzano’s windshield with his hand, breaking the windshield, authorities said.
According to police, Marzano then got out of his vehicle and allegedly hit Wolfe in the thigh with a baseball bat.

Officers arrested both men, charging Wolfe with criminal mischief and Marzano with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Both men were released with a court date, authorities said.
