Millburn Man Helps Cops Arrest Car Burglary Suspect

MILLBURN, NJ — A Millburn resident helped police apprehend a man who allegedly burglarized his 2016 Ford Edge last month, authorities say.

According to the Millburn Police Department, officers received a call from a Ridgewood Road resident on Dec. 13 about a vehicle burglary. The victim told police that he was following the person who allegedly entered his car and that he needed assistance.

Millburn police later caught up with the pair on Main Street and detained the suspect, later identified as George Brown, 36, of Orange.

Police arrested Brown after an investigation and charged him with burglary. He was released with a summons.
