Millburn Middle School Needs Alumni For Virtual Career Day
With schools closed until September, they want alumni to share their experiences.

MILLBURN, NJ — The Millburn Middle School Guidance Department is hosting MMS Virtual Career Day on Friday, May 15. All middle school students will have the opportunity to hear from Millburn Middle School Alumni about their path from Millburn Middle School to their current careers.
For the Alumni Edition, the Middle School is inviting former students of all ages, with at least three years of career experience, to participate. Virtual guest speakers will be asked to share their stories either in a live presentation on May 15, or by sharing a video that can be shown to students that day.
All MMS Alumni, near and far, are invited to this Virtual Reunion. Please reach out to Mr. Nick Pisa at Dominick.pisa@millburn.org, Mr. Mark Oppel, mark.oppel@millburn.org or Mrs. Peg Seifer, Margaret.seifer@millburn.org to volunteer.

Later this year, the schools may host unique graduation ceremonies as well. Over the weekend, Gov. Phil Murphy clamped down on in-public graduation ceremonies, saying they need to be held virtually. But on Monday, he clarified and said that "wave parades" and other graduation and birthday celebrations are OK if they respect social distancing.
