Millburn officials closed a section of Old Short Hills Road due to a structure fire.

MILLBURN, NJ — Millburn officials temporarily closed a section of Old Short Hills Road on Friday due to a structure fire, authorities stated.
Millburn Fire Department activity took place at the intersection of Old Short Hills Road and Jefferson Avenue, and closed a section of the roadway between Parsonage Hill and Farley roads, town officials stated.
Local drivers should expect delays in the area, officials stated.

Millburn Fire Chief Robert Echavarria told Patch that the road closure was due to a structure fire that may have been due to electrical issues.
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office is conducting an investigation in conjunction with the Millburn Fire and Police Departments, Echavarria said.
