Millburn Orchestra Looks for Musicians
Metropolitan Orchestra of New Jersey invites musicians to play in its new season.

The Metropolitan Orchestra of New Jersey will begin its 41st season with rehearsals on a new day and time beginning on Monday evening, September 10th at 7:30 p.m. at the George Bauer Community Center in Taylor Park, 100 Main Street, Millburn.
The orchestra’s conductor, Michael Stratechuk, its concertmaster, Michael Avagliano, and its board are optimistic that the change from Sunday mornings to Monday evenings will offer more volunteer players the opportunity to join theorchestra.
The orchestra’s three concert season will begin with an all-Dvořák program on Dec. 2, 2012; a French program for March 17th 2013; and a multi-generational program for June 9, 2013. The venue for the December and March concerts is the Millburn Hill School Auditorium, and the June concert will be held in the newly renovated Millburn Middle School Auditorium.
