Millburn Parking May See Price Hike Under Proposed Ordinance

Millburn's commuter parking permits may be about to see a price hike if a proposed township ordinance passes a second vote.

MILLBURN, NJ — Millburn’s commuter parking permits may be about to see a price hike if a proposed township ordinance passes a second vote at the Tuesday, Dec. 19 Township Committee meeting.

The $60 increase would bring the cost of an annual permit for the first car in a household to $620 and the $30 increase for a second car to $680, TAP Into Millburn/Short Hills reported. Semi-annual permits would also see an increase from $425 for the first vehicle to $455 and from $475 to $505 for each additional vehicle, the report stated.

Business permits and pay station spaces would not be affected by the increase, TAP Into reported. (Read full article here)
