On 3/12/2015, Officer Michael Tichenor responded to Millburn Ave and Main St. on a report of a pedestrian struck. A Mercury Sable was making a left turn from Main St onto Millburn Ave when the vehicle struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian suffered leg and back injuries and was taken to Overlook hospital for further treatment.
On 3/13/2015, Officer Michael Tichenor responded to Nordstrom at The Mall at Short Hills. Nordstrom store security stated they observed a female select numerous items of merchandise and enter a fitting room. The female, identified as Jaleesa Torres age 33 of Newark, emerged without any of the items. Upon being stopped Torres was found to have the merchandise in her hand bag. Torres was charged with theft and released pending a court date.

On 3/13/2015, Officer Steve Nacim responded to the area of Coniston Rd on a report of a motor vehicle accident. The driver of the vehicle, Patrick Maguire age 22 of Short Hills, was subsequently arrested following an investigation for driving under the influence of alcohol. Mr. Maguire was charged with careless driving and driving under the influence of alcohol before being released pending a court date.
On 3/15/2015, Officer Graham responded to Shop-Rite on a report of a suspicious person. Shop-Rite store investigator stated he observed a male take merchandise and hide it in his jacket. The Male, identified as Frank Wiley age 41 of Irvington, was later stopped and admitted to concealing the items in his jacket. Wiley was charged with theft and released pending a court date.
