Millburn Police Blotter: Oct. 19 to 24

Editor’s Note: The following incidents are reprinted directly from the Millburn police blotter, a listing of selected incidents that may not include the full scope of activity in the area. All of the following incidents are accusations, and all suspects should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
On October 19, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to Swarovski at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Swarovski personnel reported that a male described as 5’3” tall wearing a grey plaid shirt and jeans used a fraudulent credit card to purchase two watches valued at $532. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On October 20, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Hay responded to a Mohawk Road residence on a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The resident reports the theft of his 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee from his driveway sometime overnight. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On October 20, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Poyner responded to Kings on a theft report. Kings personnel report a male wearing a baseball cap, brown jacket, and jeans concealed two bottles of liquor valued at $119 in his pants and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On October 24, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Silance responded to a Park Rd residence on a report of a burglary to auto. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actors entered his 2009 Volvo XC7 parked in his driveway taking a baseball bag with equipment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On October 24, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Poyner responded to a Short Hills Circle apartment on a report of a burglary to a garage. The resident reports sometime between October 20 to October 24, unknown actor/s entered his unlocked garage taking his green and black Trek bicycle valued at $479. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On October 24, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Pinero responded to True Religion at The Mall at Short Hills on a credit card fraud report. True Religion personnel report a female in her mid 30’s wearing a pink sweatshirt and blue jeans handed a male in his mid 30’s wearing a grey hat, grey sweatshirt, and blue jeans four credit cards for a purchase. All of the credit cards were declined and both subjects left the store. The credit cards were later found to have been stolen. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On October 24, 2015, a Park Rd resident responded to Millburn Police Headquarters to report a burglary to auto. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered his 2011 Volvo parked in his driveway taking two pairs of sunglasses and ten dollars in change. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
