Millburn Police Blotter: Stolen Jeep Cherokee Recovered / Fraud At Louis Vuitton / Vandalized Lexus / Mall Theft
Millburn Police Blotter: Nov. 11 to 14

Editor’s Note: The following incidents are reprinted directly from the Millburn police blotter, a listing of selected incidents that may not include the full scope of activity in the area. All of the following incidents are accusations, and all suspects should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
On November 11, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Smeraldo was patrolling the The Mall at Short Hills when he received a stolen vehicle notification on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee from his license plate reader. According to police, a short time later, 43 year old Christopher Gianetti out of Massachusettes returned to the vehicle and was stopped and placed under arrest. Gianetti was charged with receiving stolen property and released with a court date.
On November 14, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Catinella responded to a Glenwood Drive residence on a criminal mischief report. The resident reports sometime overnight an unknown actor(s) spray painted her 2005 Lexus 330 while it was parked in her driveway. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 14, 2015, Detective Mendelsohn responded to Neiman Marcus at The Mall at Short Hills on a report of an individual in the store who committed a theft on November 7.
On November 14, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Pinero responded to Louis Vuitton at The Mall at Short Hills on a fraud report. Sgt Delrusso and Detective Mendelsohn had stopped 45 year old Adam Jimenez and 34 year old Rosa Herrera out of California after they allegedly attempted to make a purchase at Gucci for $3,120 and Louis Vuitton for $3,940 with a fraudulent American Express Card and fraudulent identification card. The transactions were denied. Both actors were placed under arrest and charged with credit card fraud and identity theft and released with a court date.
