Millburn Police Officer Honored For Community Service
A Millburn police officer was honored during a recent celebration hosted by the College of Saint Elizabeth Police Studies Institute.
Millburn, NJ – A Millburn police officer was honored during a recent celebration hosted by the College of Saint Elizabeth Police Studies Institute during its Black History Month Celebration.
On Feb. 11, the Institute recognized Millburn Police Officer Jamal Poyner for his service to the community.
According to a news release, Poyner has served as a Millburn police officer since 2004, and has worked in several other law enforcement positions prior to assuming his current position.

Poyner is a proud resident of Millburn where he resides with his children.
"We are pleased to recognize Jamal Poyner for his dedication and professionalism to the citizens of Millburn which distinguish him as a leader in his department,” Police Studies Institute Director William Schievella of the College of Saint Elizabeth said.
