Millburn Police Seeking Burglary Suspect Who Allegedly Struck Homeowner

Cops: Man hit victim after she confronted him during home invasion.

Millburn police are seeking a burglary suspect who allegedly struck a resident after she confronted him during a home invasion on Tuesday.

According to police, the resident reported that an unknown male entered her residence through an unlocked door. After finding the man in her home and yelling at him to leave, he confronted and struck her, then fled the residence after stealing an undisclosed amount of cash.

The victim wasn’t injured and no weapon was involved, stated police.

Police describe the suspect as a black male around 30-years-old, with shoulder length dreadlocks, and wearing a baseball cap, white and gray shirt and dark pants.

The incident is under investigation, stated police.
