Millburn Public Library Gears Up For Giant Book Sale

Amazing Books, Bargain Prices and Friendly Faces at the 15th Annual Friends of the Millburn Free Public Library Book Sale This Week!

With the donation period now over, a dedicated team of volunteers have begun the enormous task of unpacking, sorting and displaying the more than 10,000 books, DVDs and CDs for the Friends of the Millburn Free Public Library’s 15th annual book sale on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22. All the proceeds from this year’s sale, which promises to be the largest to date, will benefit the upcoming renovation of the library’s Children’s Room.
New this year, will be the exclusive Friends Members Preview Sale in the library’s second floor auditorium on Thursday, April 19 from 6:30-8:30 pm, which will afford current and new members the opportunity to have first crack at the fantastic finds displayed inside. Anyone wishing to join the Friends may do so for the discounted price of $20.00 at the door. The preview will also enable visitors to meet members of the Millburn Public Library Board of Trustees, the Friends Board of Directors, enjoy light refreshments, and learn more about the new and exciting programs offered at the library.
As usual, the Friends Book Sale provides a perfect opportunity to connect with friends and fellow book lovers from the community. There is always something for everyone: from paperback and hardcover fiction to children’s and young adult books, reference, art, cooking, history, theater and film books, as well as, music CDs, DVDs, audiobooks and much more, all at bargain prices. Regular sale hours are Saturday, April 21, 9:30 am-5:00 pm and Sunday, April 22, 1:00-4:30 pm.
