Millburn 'State Of Emergency' Due To Blizzard (UPDATED)
The Millburn PBA stated that the township is "officially in a state of emergency." Non-emergency personnel should stay off the roads.

MILLBURN, NJ -- A blizzard dumped snow on Millburn Thursday and caused several closures. The Millburn PBA stated that the township is "officially in a state of emergency" and that any non-emergency personnel should stay off the roads.
"Please use caution when driving during the morning commute as road surfaces will be impacted," Millburn township officials said.
Town officials declared a "snow emergency" on Thursday afternoon and said that vehicles are prohibited from parking on snow-covered roads.

Recycling pick up has been suspended due to weather and will resume tomorrow for Zone 4.

All recreation department games and practices are cancelled for today. The green flag is flying at Taylor park indicating the ice is safe for skating, weather permitting. The recreation program information line is 973-564-7096.
