Millburn 'State Of Emergency' Due To Blizzard (UPDATED)

The Millburn PBA stated that the township is "officially in a state of emergency." Non-emergency personnel should stay off the roads.

MILLBURN, NJ -- A blizzard dumped snow on Millburn Thursday and caused several closures. The Millburn PBA stated that the township is "officially in a state of emergency" and that any non-emergency personnel should stay off the roads.

"Please use caution when driving during the morning commute as road surfaces will be impacted," Millburn township officials said.

Town officials declared a "snow emergency" on Thursday afternoon and said that vehicles are prohibited from parking on snow-covered roads.

The Millburn School District was closed Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 due to the storm.
