Millburn Schools Score High In State Rankings
The schools' test scores boosted them over districts in nearby towns.

MILLBURN, NJ — As is often the case, the Millburn/Short Hills schools were highly ranked when test scores were compared on several lists recently.
This week, New Jersey released a list of ratings of every school on the state, compiled using a controversial 1-100 point system. All 2,100 schools in the state were scored individually, but some educators believe the system doesn't paint the full picture of each school, and compares apples to oranges.
The rankings include private, public, and charter schools, magnet schools, high schools, and elementary schools together. The total score is based on state test scores, absenteeism, graduation rates, and more.
