Millburn Sees 4 Burglaries In 5 Days: Police
Millburn police say that the township saw several burglaries early this month.

The Millburn Police Department reported that four burglaries and a possible home burglary attempt took place in the township during a five-day period earlier this month.
The following incidents come courtesy of the Millburn Police Department:
- On Nov. 3, an officer responded to an Addison Road home on a report of a burglary. According to the resident, an unknown person entered their home between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. through an unlocked door and removed jewelry and a laptop computer.
- On Nov. 3, a Merrywood Road resident reported that a person entered her 2010 Lincoln Navigator while she was parked at The Mall At Short Hills and took her pocketbook.
- On Nov. 5, a Kean Road resident reported that a person entered his 2014 GMC SUV, which was parked in his driveway. The resident told police that the person took his garage door remote and vehicle registration.
- On Nov. 8, a Morris Turnpike apartment superintendent reported that he saw a male suspect enter a garage. When confronted, the suspect allegedly fled on his bicycle westbound on Route 124. The superintendent told police that he followed the suspect to an area near Wendy’s before losing him. Police later found the suspect’s abandoned bicycle on Mt. Ararat Road. The superintendent described the man as a black male with black and grey hair, a blue jacket and a black backpack.
- On Nov. 8, a Stony Lane resident reported that they confronted a man who they allegedly caught in their home. The resident told police that the suspect fled the scene after being confronted, and described him as a black male wearing a blue shirt or jacket.
