Millburn Sees Series Of Unusual And Expensive Thefts

Recently stolen in Millburn: $1,500 air drone, $2,776 fragrance bottles, $2,000 worth of belts

A series of unusual and expensive thefts recently took place in Millburn, police reported via the weekly blotter.

  • On August 25, Abercrombie and Fitch personnel report thefts that occurred on July 20 and August 21. The suspect(s) allegedly stole a combined 44 fragrances valued at $2,776 on these dates. The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
  • On August 28, Millburn Police Officer Saleski responded to a Greenwood Drive residence on a report of a burglary to auto. The resident reported hearing her Range Rover’s car horn and noticing an individual running from her vehicle. A $1,500 air drone was allegedly taken from the vehicle. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
  • On August 29, Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to Burberry’s at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Burberrys personnel reported that a male accompanied by two females selected and concealed seven belts valued at $2,065 and fled the mall in a white Lincoln. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
