Millburn Sees Several Home, Vehicle Burglaries: Police
MPD: Burglaries have taken place on East Willow, Crescent Place, Taylor Road, the Macy's parking deck, Deer Path and Main/Cedar Streets.

MILLBURN, NJ — Millburn residents have reported several home and vehicle burglaries so far in August, according to authorities.
The Millburn Police Department provided the following reports about recent incidents in the township:
August 3 – “A Millburn police officer responded to an East Willow parking lot on a burglary to a trailer. The victim reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s broke into his trailer and took 2 Redmax blowers valued at $1,200. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.”

August 4 – “A Millburn police officer responded to a Crescent Place residence on a report of a burglary to motor vehicle report. The victim reports noticing her motion light going on at 2 a.m., and upon looking outside saw an individual exiting her 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee in her driveway. The actor had a hooded sweatshirt that concealed his face. Nothing was taken from the vehicle. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.”
August 4 – “A Millburn police officer responded to a Taylor Road South residence on a burglary report. The victim reports sometime overnight, unknown actor's entered the residence through a rear sliding door and took a Dell laptop, credit cards and $350 cash from a purse. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.”

August 4 – “A Millburn police officer responded to the Macy’s parking deck on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The victim reports between 2 and 2:15 p.m. unknown actor/s entered his 2006 Hyundai Tucson and took 4 Mac Book Pro laptops valued at $13,600. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.”
August 8 – “A Millburn police officer responded to a Main Street apartment on a burglary report. The victim reports between 10 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. unknown actor/s tampered with the apartment door and gained access to the apartment taking $1,000 in cash and approximately $100 in coins. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.”
August 9 – “A Millburn police officer responded to a Deer Path residence on a motor vehicle burglary report that occurred between August 5 and 9. The resident reports his 2017 Ford F150 was entered and rummaged through. Nothing appears to be missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.”
August 14 – “A Millburn police officer responded to a Cedar Street residence on a burglary report. The resident reports sometime overnight an unknown actor described as a male wearing a striped shirt, jeans and sneakers entered his 2016 BMW and attempted to enter his residence through a sliding door that was unlocked. The individual then left the area. Nothing appears to be missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.”
