In Millburn: Serial Car Burglaries, Stolen Vehicle, Mall Shopliftings
Police Blotter: June 25 to 28

Editor’s Note: The following incidents are taken directly from the Millburn police blotter, which may not include the full scope of police activity in the area. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
On June 25, 2015, Millburn Police responded to four reports of motor vehicle burglaries which occurred overnight between June 24 and June 25. The residences were located on Linden St, Cypress St, and Myrtle Ave. The homeowners reported the vehicles were left unlocked in the driveways, and stated the thefts included loose change and a $20 bill. No damage was done to any of the vehicles. The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On June 25, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Hunt responded to a Cypress St residence on a report of a stolen motor vehicle report which occurred overnight between June 24 and June 25. The resident reports his 2011 Honda CRV was taken from his driveway. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Department Detective Bureau.

On June 25, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Silance responded to Saks Fifth Ave at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Saks Fifth Ave personnel report Gillian Rosenberg, 45 years old out of West Orange, carried out two articles of clothing valued at $356 without making payment. Rosenberg was also found to have stolen property out of several other stores. Rosenberg was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting and receiving stolen property, and was released pending a court date.
On June 26, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to Burberry at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Burberry personnel report the theft of eight articles of clothing valued at $1,400 on June 24. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Department Detective Bureau.

On June 27, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to Bloomingdales at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel reported that two females concealed several articles of clothing valued at $2,062 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Department Detective Bureau.
On June 28, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Tavares responded to Bloomingdales at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel reported that Jean Irving, 33, of East Orange, concealed two articles of clothing valued at $412 and left the store without making payment. Irving was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of shoplifting, and was released pending a court date.
