Millburn-Short Hills 1st Responders Honored: 2 CPR Saves In 8 Days

MILLBURN, NJ — The Millburn Township Committee recently honored a group of Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad members for making two CPR saves in eight days.

During the Tuesday meeting of the Millburn Township Committee, town officials paid tribute to a group of MSHVFAS volunteer EMTs and Millburn Police Department officers who worked together to achieve the pair of CPR saves.

Acting in tribute, Millburn Mayor Ted Bourke issued a proclamation that declared December 2016 Lifesaver Month.

“Learn CPR,” the MSHVFAS wrote in a social media post about the proclamation. “You may save a life.”
