In Millburn-Short Hills: Home Burglary, $1,424 Wallet Theft, Stolen Energy Drinks

On 5/12/2015, Millburn Police Officer Freem responded to Macys at The Mall at Short Hills on a report of a theft which had just occurred. Macys personnel stopped Frantzy Damestoir, age 21, from Irvington, for shoplifting nine articles of clothing valued at $376. Damestoir was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting, and released pending a court date.

On 5/15/2015, Millburn Police Officer Kaiser responded to a Norwood Terrace residence on a report by the homeowner of a burglary. The resident returned home and found the interior ransacked with an undetermined amount missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Department Detective Bureau.

On 5/15/2015, Millburn Police Officer Silance responded to Kate Spade New York at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Store personnel reported they observed a male conceal eight wallets valued at $1,424 in a shopping bag and leave the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Department Detective Bureau.

On 5/16/2015, Millburn Police Officer Laverty responded to Walgreens at 800 Rt. 124 on a theft report. Store personnel reported that a male concealed four energy drinks valued at $65 in a bag and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Department Detective Bureau.
