On Tuesday, August 4, the Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad was delighted to support the Millburn Police Department in attending the National Night Out. The squad had an ambulance on site, available for children to tour and, of course, ready and available to treat any emergencies that should occur. Many of the squad's volunteers were available to take community members' blood pressure and answer their questions.

The MSHVFAS is an all-volunteer force that has been serving its Millburn friends and neighbors since 1958. All volunteers must complete a 110-hour EMT course. To join, support or find out more about the Volunteer First Aid Squad, visit their Web site.
