Millburn Soccer Club 2011-2012 Tryouts Begin Saturday

While it may see that the Spring soccer season just began, tryouts for next Fall are here. Tryouts will begin tomorrow (Saturday, April 30).

Pursuant to NJ Youth Soccer rules, children born after July 31, 2004, are not eligible for the MSC program.

Tryout Information:

All players should pre-register for tryouts at millburnsoccer.com. Registration is free and important to assure that we have adequate tryout staff for the number of players.

 Changes to our schedule due to weather will be posted on our website and emailed to those registered. This season we do not have set rain dates. Makeup sessions will be emailed to those registered.

 Only players and their families who are willing to commit to both the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 travel soccer seasons should try out for a Millburn Soccer Club team.

 All current MSC players must try out for the 2011-2012 season.

 All players should try out with their age group. If a player wishes to "play up" they should attend BOTH tryouts.

 The MSC Coaching Committee may hold secondary tryouts if necessary.

 If illness or injury will prevent a player from attending their scheduled tryout, contact MSC before the tryout.

What to Bring?

 NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO TRYOUT WITHOUT BOTH CLEATS AND SHINGUARDS.

 Do not wear travel soccer uniforms to tryouts.

 Players should bring a water bottle; they do not need a soccer ball.

The tryout dates and times are tentative and may change due to weather or other circumstances. Changes will be emailed to all who register for tryouts.

 All players will be contacted with tryout results through a mailing on or about June 6th.

 A mandatory registration meeting for parents of children who are placed on teams will be held on or about Wednesday, June 15.
