GOALIE TRYOUTS -MSC will hold position tryouts for goalies only. All candidates must also attend their regular age group player tryouts listed above.

Any First Grader who is born after 7/31/05 is permitted to tryout.

  Tryout Information:

• All players should pre-register for tryouts at millburnsoccer.com - registration is free and important to assure that we have adequate tryout staff for the number of players.
• Changes to our schedule due to weather will be posted on our website and emailed to those registered – this season we do not have set rain dates. If we need to cancel a session, the makeup session arrangements will be emailed to all who are registered
• Only players and their families who are willing to commit to BOTH the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 travel soccer seasons should try out for a Millburn Soccer Club team.
• All current MSC players must try out for the 2012-2013 season.
• All players should try out with their age group. If a player wishes to “play up” they should attend BOTH tryouts.
• The MSC Coaching Committee may hold secondary tryouts if necessary.
• If illness or injury will prevent a player from attending their scheduled tryout, contact MSC BEFORE the tryout.

What to Bring?

• NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO TRYOUT WITHOUT BOTH CLEATS AND SHINGUARDS.
• Do not wear travel soccer uniforms to tryouts.
• Players should bring a water bottle; they do not need a soccer ball.

Communication:

• The tryout dates and times are tentative and may change due to weather or other circumstances. Changes will be emailed to all who register for tryouts.
• All players will be contacted with tryout results through a mailing on or about June 4.
• A mandatory registration meeting for parents of children who are placed on teams will be held on or about Wednesday, June 13; player registration forms will be collected at that time.  Payment, either online or via check, will be required by June 13 to hold your child's spot on a team.
