MILLBURN, NJ — What's that sign about, the one outside of Millburn High School on Millburn Avenue? It's about Alex Berg, a sophomore at the school who on Jan. 6 bowled a perfect game in a varsity high school match. In fact, he went on to bowl a 735 series for the three-game match.

Alex's family reports that this isn't the first time. In 2018, he bowled a perfect game at a New Jersey Junior Bowler's Tour event. He was only 14.

At that time, his mother Janine said, "He works so hard at the game and has always dreamed of bowling a perfect game, taking lessons and doing leagues and tournaments. We are so happy he was able to accomplish that so early in his life. It shows him that hard work can pay off."
