Millburn Student Thespians, Local Mom, Hold ‘Carpool Karaoke’

MILLBURN, NJ — Encouraging your kid to follow their artistic dreams is one thing. But the “harried” mom of a Millburn Middle School student recently took good parenting to a new level when she found herself starring in an episode of “Carpool Karaoke,” courtesy of a troupe of local thespians.

As Millburn Middle School gears up for its annual spring musical on April 27 and 28 – this year featuring “Shrek the Musical” – a local parent’s carpool ride turned into a sing-along session. (Check it out in the below video)

The Millburn Middle School Spring Musical, Shrek the Musical, will be held on Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28 at 7 p.m. A Sunday matinee will be presented at 1 p.m. on April 29. Tickets are $15 and are on sale online at mms.booktix.com. Tickets can also be purchased in the guidance office after school and will be available at the door on the day of the performance.
