Millburn Students Earn Scholarships Through Essay Contest
Korean Parents Organization gave four $400 awards.

MILLBURN, NJ - Four students earned academic scholarships from the Korean Parent Organization (KPO) of Millburn/Short Hills as they were judged the winners of the Annual Essay Competition.
The theme of this year's competition was “Views on affirmative action and its impact on Korean/Korean-American students.”
The competition was open to all juniors and seniors attending Millburn High School. Thee winners will each receive an award and a scholarship of $400. Senior winners will receive their awards at the Academic Awards Ceremony on May 31.

This year’s recipients are seniors Justine Del Prado, Seo Yun (Stephanie) Hwang and Ranen Miao. Junior Eliza Tagle also was a 2019 recipient.
