Millburn Students Present 13th Annual 'Millburn Cares' Concert

Millburn High School’s Drama Club will host its 13th Annual Millburn Cares Concert on Wednesday, June 17, at 7 p.m. in the Millburn High School Auditorium with its student-created production, “Broadway’s Heroes and Villains.”
Show tunes will include, but are not limited to selections from Shrek, Little Shop of Horrors, Wicked, Hairspray, Chicago and Chaplin.
The concert is open to the public and all are invited and encouraged to attend. Tickets are $10, and proceeds will go to Broadway House for Continuing Care in Newark.

This year, the club intends to use donations to purchase a LCD projector and stand for Broadway House, so that it its patients can view live streaming video for events they are unable to attend.

Students involved in this year’s event include piano accompanists, Noah Lombos, Griffin Schwab, Erica Culberson, Ellim Kim, Yicong Wu, and Fares Al Habboubi.
Vocalists include: Daniela Kaplun, Alec Wolf, Lucy Grebin, Carly Maitlin, Jillian Berkowitz, Leonard Santos, and Ambika Chetal.
The evening’s MCs will be event directors Daniela Kaplun and Leonard Santos.
The publicity poster was designed by senior Max Retik.
